Training & Education

Y’z Up is a six week Employability & Personal Development project for young people aged 16-25 not in employment, education or training.

The project runs for six weeks on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, followed by one-to-one support to identify transitions into Employment, Education or Training. Participants take part in a Community Challenge, CV and cover letter writing, interview techniques and valuable work experience, working towards a City & Guilds Level 1 Award in Employability and Personal Development. Financial support is available for travel expenses, and participants receive an Achievement Allowance of £30 every two weeks, with a bonus payment once in employment, education or training for six weeks.
