At Charters Day Nursery, we recognise that the overall quality of childcare provision and the daily experience families gain from using our service, is very much dependent on the staff team. We believe children learn best when they feel safe and secure, when their individual needs are met and when they have positive relationships with those caring for them.
Our experienced team all hold appropriate qualifications and share a wealth of skills and knowledge in early years child care. Disclosure and Barring (previously CRB) checks and references are carried out on all staff before they join the team.
Children achieve good personal, social and emotional development as staffs are very attentive to their individual needs.
Most of the staff have been working at the nursery for several years. They are committed to developing their knowledge and have embraced the revised Early Years Foundation Stage. Children form close bonds with the long-established team of staff who know the children and their families well.
Children with special educational needs and/or disabilities are well supported. The team have a wide range of experience between them and some have been on specialist training.
Staff listen attentively to children's contributions at all times so that their language skills are promoted.
