Dynamic Pathway to Independence: #Stage4

The Step down stage focuses on moving through towards independence. Here, we actively support residents in the direction of a vocational outcome, whereby residents can develop skills to truly live independent lives, for example how to pay mortgage.

Working with local further education college partners, the residents have the opportunity to work towards a QCF/vocational qualification. There are amazing work experiences opportunities for everyone so that they can work on their CV.

Residents have opportunities for different social enterprises, like Futures Cafรฉ, our very own cafe, which exists to help make a difference in society, providing both for our residents and our community. The support in this stage decreases in order for the residents to try and provide more for themselves and live in semi-independent accommodation, focusing on life skills.
