What is our Horizons Therapeutic Support for children and young people?
We can offer either one to one play therapy, therapeutic group work and counselling sessions to children and young people aged 4yrs – 18yrs, impacted by domestic abuse, living in Bedfordshire. We aim to deliver play therapy in the child’s school but where schools are not able to offer a space during lockdown, we can use local safe spaces such as children’s centres, with prior notice.
We have fully qualified PTUK/BACP Play therapists/Creative Counsellors which enables us to offer placements for Trainee Play Therapists and Counsellors.
