Our highly qualified team of Early Years Professionals provide your child with the very best nursery experience with a focus on the individual child and their very unique needs. If you’re thinking about bringing your child to a One YMCA day nursery, we highly recommend that you arrange a visit to the nursery of your choice to give you the opportunity to talk to our day care team and see the nursery facilities first hand.
In our settings, babies and children take part in a variety of child-chosen and adult-led activities. Following the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) our provisions are set-up to support babies and children in all areas of learning and development. Learning through play helps the children develop at their own pace; having fun, making friends, and learning as they play to become confident, secure children.
Why choose a One YMCA Nursery?
- We promote a home from home ethos which supports your child to feel safe and secure in our settings
- We strive for and maintain the highest standards of nursery provision through a continual process of quality assessment, staff training and user feedback in line which Ofsted and Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) statutory requirements.
- We believe that families are a child’s first educator and work in partnership with parents.
Our Community Nurseries provide a secure and loving space for children and families to grow. Children have the opportunity to develop in an organised, supportive and challenging environment to develop to their full potential. We recognise that each stage of a child’s development has unique characteristics that influence how a child will experience his or her environment, which will determine the direction of their brain development. All of our nursery menus are nutritionally balanced, paying special attention to reducing salt and sugar.
Goldington Community Nursery’s environment is carefully designed to enable children to get the most out of their time with us.
