Have you got the passion and desire to make a difference to the lives of Young People? Are you a Youth Work champion? If so, we would love for you to apply for our Youth Worker roles developing and delivering our well-being work.
One YMCA’s Youth Work is growing, we’ve recently received some funding from The National Lottery Community Fund to support what we do. We’re looking for new colleagues with experience of well-being work (mental, physical and spiritual) with young people to deliver new programmes across Hertfordshire; group work, mentoring and outreach will be key activities. You’ll be working with a team of youth workers to deliver a wide range of sessions and activities, integrating well-being work across our current delivery areas as well as new places.
At the heart of our youth work activities are opportunities for young people to Belong, Contribute and Thrive. We do this by running:
• Youth sports sessions
• Youth clubs
• Creative programmes
• Team-building sessions
• Lunch time and after school clubs
• Arts and crafts
• So much more
Our well-being work is central to everything we do and is built in to all the activities and sessions we deliver. Get in touch if you’d like to find out how you can help us support young people as they navigate being a teenager in the 21st century.
