Peter Mayne – Chair
With a twenty year background in consumer data and information, Peter is now a management consultant specialising in working within small sized businesses. Prior to becoming a trustee and chair of Signpost, Peter has been a volunteer, trustee and Chief Executive of Home-Start Herts as well as a primary and secondary school governor. Married and with a teenage daughter, Peter understands the importance of good mental health in young people and the benefit of early intervention in helping them to achieve this.

Max Beddard 
Max’s background is in media where he served as a CFO and supported the business to become the biggest privately owned publisher and broadcaster in the UK. Max has been a charity trustee since 2008, first of all for the YMCA in Bishop’s Stortford and then with One YMCA from 2018 to 2022. Max has had personal experience with the impact of bereavement on children’s mental health and is passionate about raising the profile of mental health issues.

Jon Sleeper
Jon is a Management Consultant, Executive Coach and Workshop Facilitator with more than thirty years’ experience in business and systemic change.  Jon works with organisational complexity, helping leaders’ and teams to innovate, adapt and evolve to the changing world around them.  Jon also facilitates workshops so that people can improve their collaboration by observing what is emerging through their relationship systems.  Jon feels lucky to have benefitted from providing coaching to the young people in the Watford area for more than ten years.
