Becoming homeless can have a detrimental effect on all areas of a personโs life, with many of our residents coming to us with a range of complex needs that impact on their physical and mental health.
After a lifetime of barriers, trauma and let downs it can be almost impossible for the vulnerable individuals we support to summon up the self-motivation necessary to engage with longer term goals, actions and activities.
Project Resilience provides easily accessible opportunities for our hostel residents to take part in a variety of social and sporting activities to boost overall health and wellbeing.
Offering activities regardless of age, ability, or existing fitness levels; Project Resilience helps our residents to rebuild body and mind, helping them to regain their independence and break the cycle of homelessness.
Project Resilience supports our residents to rebuild their lives and regain their independence by giving them:

An improved quality and length of life

Better physical and mental health

Diversion to reduce reliance on addictive substances
