In the past year alone, 2317 domestic abuse incidents were reported in Bedfordshire, with women forming the majority of the victims. Men were also affected, with 628 of them enduring abuse. Most alarmingly, a report by Barnardo’s in 2020 found that 25% of girls and 18% of boys aged 13-17 have faced physical violence from an intimate partner. The Big Give offers match funding.
