Through the creation of a sector leading training and development solutions we will create opportunities, inspire change and encourage growth in our colleagues, volunteers and those we support to enable them to achieve their goals and aspirations.
Latest highlights (Apr-June 2023)
We have created opportunities, inspired change and encouraged growth through 13 sessions of L&D being delivered by our colleagues during Learning at Work Week. We have also been growing our apprenticeships and now have 7 apprentices studying with a further 7 about to on-board.
So far as a concept we have increased the number of students that gain valuable work experience with us, from schools, colleges, Prince’s Trust, and universities. We have increased the learning opportunities for our colleagues and volunteers through training run by our colleagues including our Authentic Human Connection Training. Colleagues have completed training on safeguarding, first aid, professional boundaries, LGBTQ+ and more with experienced and knowledgeable trainers. We have increased our apprenticeships and now run a Level 5 Operations and Department Manger as well as our Level 3 Early Years Educator apprenticeship.
During Learning at Work Week all colleagues and volunteers had the opportunity to share their skills, learn about others in a different area of the charity or gain some valuable IT knowledge and shortcuts. We offer the people we support many opportunities to develop including 1 to 1 support as well as accredited courses. If you want to find out more about this concept please get in touch.
